Stanisław Sacha Stawiarski

Born in 1941, he studied under the supervision of professor Hanna Rudzka-Cybisowa at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow. He obtained the painter's diploma with distinction in 1969. The following year, he left for Paris, where he studied in Beaux Arts. In 1973, he became a member of the Association of Polish Fine Artists in Cracow in 1973, and 1975 – the Association of Painters in Saint Tropez. He is also a member to the French Artists Association. To acknowledge his artistic achievement, he was awarded a professorship from the International Academy of Literature, Art and Science Greci Marino. Stanisław Stawiarski took part in many individual and collective exhibitions in Poland, France, Scandinavia, the United States of America and Japan.

In his paintings, Stawiarski shows the world using intensive light, space, bright colors and contrast. His works are full of fascination with sunny Mediterranean scenery and carefree life in the south of France, where the artist lives at present.
